Bilt Card - Evolve bank had a data breach와 관련해서 이메일 받으셨나요?

얼마전에 카드 재발급 받았는데 이건 또 뭔일이래요..-.-

 

 

From Bilt:

We were recently made aware of a cyber incident with a bank, Evolve Bank & Trust (“Evolve”), that provides services to several large financial services platforms including Bilt, Affirm, Shopify, Mercury, Plaid, Mastercard, Visa, Stripe and others. Given Bilt’s payments platform uses services from Evolve and some of these listed companies, we wanted to inform you as soon as possible.
According to Evolve, this incident may have compromised some of your personal information that Evolve had on record. The bank has said that this incident has been contained and there is no ongoing threat. At this time, we have no definitive proof that your personal information was impacted by this incident and we are providing you this notice out of an abundance of caution.
Rest assured, your Bilt account credentials and password were not exposed and there have been no disruptions to Bilt’s operations.
Your Bilt services are working and you can continue to use Bilt as usual, including for any upcoming rent payments. Protecting our customers remains our top priority and we have already implemented additional monitoring for any suspicious activity. While we use a variety of tools to ensure the security of your data, there are certain steps you can take to enhance the security of any of your accounts:
1 - Remain vigilant by monitoring account activity and credit reports, and report any suspicious activities to your personal bank
2 - Consider setting up free fraud alerts or freezing your credit with the nationwide credit bureaus — Equifax, Experian and TransUnion — and request and review your free credit report at any time via FreeCreditReport.
3 - As always, if any fraud occurs on your account, you’re protected. Cardholders are never responsible for unauthorized purchases or transactions, and we’ll do everything we can to help you through the situation.
4 - If you receive any emails or texts related to your Rent Rewards Account with transactions you do not recognize or any unusual activity, please report it immediately by contacting support+biltaccount@biltrewards.com, so we can address it for you.
